Sky Watch Friday

Spring sprung quickly in Florida last week and it appears the last of our cold weather is gone for the winter and summer will soon be upon us (spring lasts a few weeks and then the summer heat and sun settles in for the next 8 months).

A day at the beach on Saturday found not only a beautiful blue sky and blue ocean, but a nearly full moon hanging low on the horizon (click on the photo to see it full size for a better view of the moon):

Visit the Skywatch blog for all the hundreds of great shots each week.

This is a beautiful water and sky scene. I love the blue tones interrupted by the slivers of white. Excellent, especially with the moon up there...

That is a beautiful SkyWatch photo! I'm so glad I found your blog. I grew up in Jax Beach and your pictures are bringing back a lot of memories!

Great capture and an unusual choice portrait style works so well.

It's a beautiful photo... the blues are gorgeous and the to see the waves in the water is so teasing... how I wish I could run in amongst the surf!
It has been a long cold winter here!
