Double vision?

I thought this shot was kind of cool - I was sitting right next to a plastic partition and noticed that the jumbotron to my right was reflecting in it while at the same time I could see the jumbotron on the left through the plastic shield. The images are exactly the same, but the reflection is, of course, backwards - I thought it was neat to be able to capture them side-by-side like this. :)

Hooray! Football season is upon us!

Just one shot of the Jacksonville Jaguars practicing on Friday night inside the stadium downtown during a scrimmage that was open to the public. Just practices for now - first pre-season game for the Jags will be next week. Regular season won't start until September. But after having no live football since February, even a practice is most welcome!

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

No, not Christmas... FOOTBALL SEASON!!! Woo-hoo!
I didn't take our camera tonight to the Jaguars practice, but here are some pictures from the first Monday night practice last week, where we had a better view because they were in the front field closest to the bleachers:
Here is Jaxon deVille being, well... Jaxon... stealing a player's helmet, which he then hid under his jersey and later tried to offer for sale to the fans:

Big John Henderson and Tony Pashos battling in the "Oklahoma" Drill (over 600 lbs of muscle facing off right there):

A sunset, a cool breeze, and football... welcome back football season - We missed you. :)
