Haven't Disappeared

Been a few days since I posted anything, but with good reason: my father has been in the hospital and had heart bypass surgery earlier in the week.  I am happy to report that he is doing very well and should be home this weekend.  Needless to say, blogging hasn't been the highest priority in life lately!  

On the bright side he does have a great view of downtown and the river from his current room. :)

The bridge I posted as a close-up a couple of days ago is here in this image on the left. There is a gazebo on the right under the trees but the shadows were too strong in the midday sun.

Cross Over?

A foot bridge over a narrow section of one of the lakes that grace the campus of the company that I work for - we have nicely landscaped grounds so I decided to walk around at lunch and take some photos for the blog yesterday.
