Summer Storms

June announced itself today with a strong summer storm that dumped a lot of water and also quite a bit of golf ball sized hail - thankfully it waited until it passed us and started hailing just south of our neighborhood so we received no hail damage. This was poor Mischa's first summer thunderstorm and she did not like it one bit! Rather than hiding, however, she wanted to know what was going on and decided to jump into her window sill to watch the downpour outside. Her silhouette was just perfect so I quickly grabbed the camera and started taking photos, then shifted from photos of the cat to photos of the rain, etc. so I'll post some of those, too, later in the week.

In this case I prefer the "golf" course I found over yours...

And this is Florida???

We were lucky enough to get some of that hail at our house. And I didn't even think of taking pictures until I saw some on the news. That was a nasty storm.

I love this photo. It reminds me of the wooden cats you can buy to hang above the door.
