Sea World: Part 1

I've gotten a bit behind on posting because we spent Friday evening and most of Saturday down in Orlando with a couple of our good friends so we could visit Sea World.

Sea World park in Orlando, FL opened in 1973, but the first Sea World was opened in San Diego, California in 1964. Today there are multiple Sea World parks: San Diego, California; Orlando, Florida; San Antonio, Texas; and, coming soon, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in the Middle East.

I'll post some more photos this week of the various parts of the park, which is nicely landscaped and designed. Quite a few good pictures out of the nearly 1,000 that I took during the roughly ten hours we were in the park... ain't digital "film" grand? :)

I agree..digital "film" is great! Very nice pictures. I think I moved from Orlando about the time Sea World opened. I wonder if they still have a place there called Gatorland.

Gatorland does indeed still exist. It actually had a fire at their main entrance a year or so ago, but no humans were injured and only one or two gators suffered minor injuries (if memory serves me correctly). But as far as I know it is still alive and kicking, though as an FSU fan I have a natural aversion to giving any of my money to support Gators. :)
