Just for Sharon, we called in a few favors, whispered in a few ears, and got the Rhino's to agree to pose in a manner that Sharon would appreciate:
Best part of the zoo today was definitely the fact that four of the Jaguars were out and about - and moving around for a change - and we were finally able to get some good photos of them. Eleven months we've been zoo members and this is the first time we've been there with a camera when they weren't obscured by a fence:
And when we were leaving the Jaguar area we came across a new resident that we haven't seen previously - a peacock, who was quite shimmery in the mid-morning sunlight:
Oh, wait, my bad... that's a bear bottom, not a bare bottom. Sorry for the confusion. ;-)
And since Sharon mooned me with an email smiley the other day, here is a bare bottom in return:
Oh, wait, my bad... that's a bear bottom, not a bare bottom. Sorry for the confusion. ;-)
And after we came home we started packing, with some help (cough - yeah right) from Cricket:

Oh my...I don't know what to say...I'm so touched *tear*
Seriously, those are AWESOME!! The rhinos should be some sort of poster. I love it.:)
It does look like a perfect post card, doesn't it? We have some monkey butts, too, but not very close up and the bonobos have no hair on their butts so they are rather disturbing... :-/
